Question: does anyone know if the proform 375e treadmill is a good buy?

Answer#1: ProForm treadmills in general are very poor quality. The manufacturer, Icon Health and Fitness, have an industry wide reputation for using the cheapest parts, having poor customer service, and having a high breakdown rate. From my experiece as a service tech for over 20 years now, I'd say their breakdown rate is probably 3 in 5 machines and very few of them last more than a year without trouble. Your best bet is to check out another manufacturer in the same price range: Horizon, New Balance, Spirit, HealthTrainer and Endurance are some of the better residential grade brands.-The Treadmill Senseiwww.treadmillsensei.com
