Question: About a Bowflex.......?

Question Description:
My fiance and I are wanting to buy a Bowflex but we are wondering if it really works as well as it says that it does. I do not want to spend all that money on another thing that failed. So please i would like to know from people that i know are real and not paid actors....let me know what you think please. IS A BOWFLEX REALLY WORTH IT?by the question, i mean do people actually get fit and lose weight in the 6 weeks like they said? that is the main thing i am worried about

Answer#1: A Bowflex is only as good as what you put into it. You can't buy one and expect it to get you in shape by just hanging your clothes on it. You will need to use it, and use it hard. Wimpy workouts won't get you looking like the actors on the commercials. It's hard work.Is it worth it? Only if you use the machine the way it is designed to be used. I own a Bowflex Sport, and I feel I have gotten my moneys worth from it a couple times over. The 6 week guarantee is not the end result. They don't say you will be fit and trim at the end of 6 weeks. But, if you stick to the diet and exercise plan, you will start seeing results within 6 weeks, probably even in the first 2 weeks.

Answer#2: I think their 20 minutes/3x a week plan is a little weak. I do it more often. But you can definitely see fitness results. The weight loss comes from a combination of diet and exercise. I love mine and I think it was worth it. I have a Bowflex Ultimate.Make sure you measure your space (height too) it's BIG--on TV they are always in a big open room or outside; inside a house they take up a lot of space, even folded.

Answer#3: You can buy an excellent weight bench and a 310pound weight set for under 400dollars. You could even add a high quality lat machine and still be under 700dollars. But a bowflex is convenient, and most people would rather spend the extra money for that reason.

Answer#4: Yes, the Bowflex is worth the money. I have one I bought about 5 years ago and it is still in good working order. There are so many things you can do with it, that there are a wide variety of exercises to be done on it for such a small machine.

Answer#5: we have a bowflex X2......if ur willing to shell out the money, it is quite a nice piece of equipment *thumbs up*

Answer#6: the only thing I want from a Bowflex is the 49 yr old lady!!!that looks 23!!she is hott!!
