Question: Can you really get results from Bowflex? I know I have to work out but is it that easy?

Question Description:
20 minutes, 3 times a week to start seeing results. I don't know. I'm thinking about purchasing a Bowflex. Getting to the gym is hard for me, I'm real busy. I just wanted to know from any experts or bowflex owners or anyone with advice do you think bowflex is good? Can you get good results from it? Is it just all hyped up with paid programming? Please share your info!

Answer#1: The gym is fun anyways and dont forget the chicks!!!!!!!!!!!

Answer#2: You should try the Bowflex out first before you buy one. My local sports superstore has demo models that you can actually try out. They are very different than weight machines if that's what you're looking for and you might not like the way the Bowflex feels. I personally do not. Bowflex is a "spring" and the force increases continuously with the extent of motion, unlike a weight or weight machine which maintains a constant weight force. OTOH, the increasing springforce puts a greater incremental load on the muscle you're exercising so gains made while using the Bowflex can be superior to fixed-weight training. But experiencing the most force at the extent of the movent feels akward to many. You work up on the movement distance on Bowflex and you add weight with free weights. Both methods are capable of producing good results.Whether or not you like the feel of such a machine will have more to do with how often you use it than any resolutions you make or directions you try to follow so before buying, do try one out for yourself first.

Answer#3: Are you serious?20 minutes, 3 times a week?Read the fine print. I'm sure there's words to the effect "as part of your fitness program"Add in another 8 or 10 hours a week of other workouts, and yeah, you'll look like the guys in the commercial. Will you see 'results' with only 20 minutes, 3 times a week? Possibly, if you're starting out as a totally out of shape couch potato. I don't have one or need one. It looks like a nice machine, and I expect I could get decent results with it if did, but I would use it on top of 1-2 hours a day of running, cycling, and swimming.

Answer#4: No work out is easy and 20 min on a bow-flex is like hours at the gym You will see
