Question: I'm thinking of getting an Image Treadmill, they are quite cheap. Can anyone recommend them or not?
Question Description:
If you have one of these treadmills and could review it for me or if you know where i can get a couple of reviews on the web. I found some but they just said its fine for walking. Would like to be able to run as the speed is up to 16km/h and i need it to last about 2 years.
Answer#1: We have had an image treadmill for almost 10 years. The heart monitor never worked well, but 10 years later that may be improved. The motor starter broke in the 5 year warrenty period and it was replaced free.It also needed replacement last year which cost us about $150.It gets used a lot, almost 2 hours per day. so I would say that it is a good product.
Answer#2: Why don't you look in your local phone book for places that refurbish them for a living you might get a good product for half or less the price. Those tread mills are great, but expensive.
