Question: Las Vegas, Downtown, Real Gym?

Question Description:
Vacationing in Vegas later this month. Staying downtown, but our hotel has no gym. Is there a good gym in or very near downtown, that offers a workout at decent day rate? Note: Want a real gym - with full weights, nautilus type machines. The reason to ask here is to hear from someone WHO KNOWS FROM FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE.

Answer#1: The other answers are stupid and not helpful.

Answer#2: Not too sure about what hotels may have gym's with in their amenities but you should check out some of the websites of the hotels that you have in mind. I believe that most of the hotels that would have a gym in the hotel would be the ones along the strip like the pricier ones or ones that have spas. There is however many health clubs within Vegas that are national. Such as Gold's, Las Vegas Athletic Club, Club Sport and 24hr Fitness and many around the valley. You could check in to one of the clubs and see how much it may be for a day rate. But you can check out some of the downtown hotels and see if they have a gym. Some of the not so old hotels may have one. Here are a few suggestions of some of them.Jerry's Golden NuggetThe PlazaThe Four QueensBut I do recommend going to the websites of the hotels and seeing the info if available. If not you can always call. That would be my advise. Good Luck

Answer#3: No I don't know of one but I have been to the Gold's Gym,which has decent weights. We even got to see a few Olympia competitorswell first hand experience, since I go every year, would tell me NO! there are no good gyms downtown. You will have to go off the strip to find a decent gym. Take the next guys list and go to one of them!!!!
