I would like to buy a treadmill for home use. What brand will be good ?

Answer#1: I bought a treadmill about 2 years ago for our staff at our company's warehouse and we just love it. It's made by SMOOTH FITNESS. It's a total workhorse and I'm sure it will outlive all of us. Great products...built to last.
Answer#2: Anything under $500 new isn't worth your time if you are a serious workout type. The kinds you find at Wal-Mart are made of cheap materials and will begin to wear out quickly. The treads are bad to slip and the whole thing will come apart if you use it at running speed and not just walking speed.Save your money and buy a high quality one with a lot of metal construction. $1000 is not a bad figure, and the treadmill will last you through years of 10-15mph runs. If, on the other hand you do decide to buy a budget model, while you are using it, start saving up for a better one. Nautilus makes good treadmills, and so does StarTrac.
Answer#3: I have a Proform 520. it works great. Got it from Dunhams for $499
