Question: Treadmill workout question?
Question Description:
After a week of going on the treadmill for an hour 4+ times a week I've notice new leg muscles. My question is will I lose that "tire" around my hips and stomach? I know I won't get a six pack from the treadmill, but will I lose fat along those areas?
Answer#1: Good Question. I found this article before I came across your question. It should help in all areas.http://www.prevention.com/article/0,5778,s1-2-67-682-3600-1-P,00.htmlGood luck fellow treadmiller...
Answer#2: Actually you could get a six pack with the treadmill and other things of course. Cardio burns that fat/calories around you waste. Watch your diet, cut back on soda, sweets etc. and keep using the treadmill with intervals, run really hard for 30sec, then walk for 30. Keep doing intervals similar to this. The object is to change your heart rate, make you heart work. Also do abdominal exercises as well, maybe in between intervals. That's how I got my six pack.
Answer#3: of course. running or jogging on a treadmill is cardio workout. the way you lose weight is by doing cardio. the more you run on the treadmill, eat well, that stomach will begin to shrink and you will see the fat burn off. trust me i'm in the middle of a workout program right now trying to lose a total of 58 pounds. i have lost 22 pounds in 5 weeks so far. i told myself i want to be back at my healthy bmi weight by december 8th when i graduate college getting my undergrad. i've been a tottal workout nut got myself sick and got to the point last week where my body was dead tired. but a great diet, and a great workout program doing some free weights and cardio you will lose that stomach i promise you. check this site out it will help. good luckhttp://www.toloseweight.org
Answer#4: yea you will.. try to add some ab workouts though that'll help with the six pack! lol 25 situps.. alternate with 10 pushupsdo 4 sets a day
Answer#5: You should, as long as you've changed your diet as well. Try to stay off the junk and high fat foods.
