Question: Special stretches to do before workout on Eliptical machine?


Question Description:
Just wondering if there are any good stretches I can do before I work out on my eliptical? My calves are always sore after every workout...Thank you!

Answer#1: Here's what I do:- lunges (knee bent in front of you, leg stretched out behind you).-reaches (stretching by standing then reaching down to your feet)- stand up, lift yourself off the floor by the front part of your foot. For a challenge, try that when standing on the edge of a mat or phonebook.If you're too sore, you might lower the resistance/level of the elliptical machine. It might also be the position of your feet as you stand on it - clsoer to the front, closer to the back, right in the middle?
