Question: Air eliptical cross trainer ~ Any good?

Question Description:
Hi.Ive had this cross trainer for a few years now its now been in the shed for months I used it for about a week at the most as I got boared!. But now I feel like I want to use it again! Ive got myself a mp3 player so it might make it abit more entertaining!. What i would like to know is does this machine realy tone you up? as I didnt notice anything in a weekk, thats partly why i gave up... but if theres anyone out there who have had results from this machine please tell me!!Thx!

Answer#1: Cross trainers like this are excellent for a more general body work, both arms and legs are involved at the same time. At high resistance they are the biggest calorie burner in the gym, and at lower reps can be as good for CV as running. To give up an exercise because you fail to look like a body builder in a week is naive, that would be magic rather than toning! A month or so might show some improvement.

Answer#2: I 'd urge with you to keep consistancy in your work out..rem'ber we don't loose form overnite..hence the expectation to loose it that way 'd be superflous..that being said ..I 'd also not recommend jus sticking to one machine as the be all and end all..You gotta keep changing your routine every 4-5 weeks and offer newer challenges to your body ..Plz remain with one routine at least for 10 wks before deciding if it works for you or not ...Do follow the links I 'm sending you as they 'd help you with animated exercises and inspirational stories et al to keep your work out interesting and rewarding ..Jus ' go for it ..All the best ...

Answer#3: there no tthat bad i prefer a good jog better though
