Question: making a home gym, punching bag reccomendations?

Question Description:
so im starting a small home gym for me and my brothers. first purchase is a punching bag. im currently looking at ags at this site http://www.sportsauthority.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=1190159&cp=2057738.710956.710957.1190149bit im having a problem. im not exactly sure of the type i should get. i know im shooting for either an 80 or 100 pound bag but the material is what im concerned with. i think vinyl may be kinda cheap so im asking for your help!what punching bag do you reccomend, either off that website or maybe something ou might own yourself. im looking for durability as the main factor for choice of purchase.thanks!

Answer#1: unless you use wraps for your hands you will tear your hands up on canvas. Invest in the heavier bag. You'll appreciate it later, also it's better for your kicks (doesn't send the bag flying all over). You're better to use wraps anyways so you lessen the chance of a boxer's fracture or a sprained wrist until your wrists are stronger. So essentially I'd get a 100-120lb canvas bag and enough wraps for everyone that will use it. Otherwise they wear out in weird spots because different size and shape hands are using them.
