Question: I need to buy a home gym?
Question Description:
I'm looking to buy (and use!!!) a treadmill plus a multi gym for the house. Given the different types of products, can anyone give me their opinion on these (treadmill budget: to £350) (home gym budget: to £250). Ta.
Answer#1: Have a look at Argos on line.
Answer#2: Don't buy a home gym they are very limited. Get a freeweight set and bench at a local department store. It is much easier and cheaper to add on to a weight set than to a home gym. As for a treadmill get one with a heart monitor and advanced programs on it.
Answer#3: it would take you along time to recoup your money if you get a proper outfit around 10 or more times the amount of cash you mention against going to say Fitness First and i have known from folks who have tried it the success is minimal and the atmosphere is not there being in a public gym spurs you on
Answer#4: I find I get alot more done by getting a membership to a gym. No matter how tired you are, if you force yourself through the door you always end up with a decent workout.
Answer#5: Argos have a good sale on fitness equipment at the minute and you should be able to get something within your budget there.http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ArgosPromoViewNine?langId=-1&storeId=10001&pageName=HandF&tag=HP1_1b
Answer#6: if that is all you can afford for a multigym, i wouldnt waste your money. you would be better go get a flat bench that can incline and get some free weights.the quality of cheap multigyms is terrible. and in the long run, you will get more benefit from free weights.
