Question: Exercise Bike?
Question Description:
I've been exercising an hour everyday on my exercise bike. Which is about 13.5 miles. Will I lose weight?
Answer#1: The answer is: unknown. You're certainly burning calories, but that's only half the equation. What is your calorie INTAKE? You can peddle 'till your blue, but if your eating three chocolate cakes a day, you're not going to loose the flab. An hour of cardio a day is great, if you are also eating healthy. Good luck.
Answer#2: If your heart rate is in the cardiovascular range during the exercise, you'll lose fat and gain muscle. As muscle weighs 3X fat, you may not lose weight, or may not lose it as quickly as you want. But you'll notice that you're trimming down, which is a very healthy thing if you're feeling a bit overweight.Good luck! :)
Answer#3: Good for you! If you put it on a high tension you will. Just pedaling without resistance you won't burn as many calories.
