Question: Strength Training tips/nutrition.?


Question Description:
I am about to start a strength training regimen, I currently take Taekwondo which is 90% Endurance training. I am vary slim and wanted to put on some extra muscle. I have a cross bow strength machine and am about to start working out on it daily. Anyway, my main question is that I haven’t never really got into body building and wanted to know what supplements I need to take. I heard whey protein and creative, is that true? I hope to see results in a month or two. I want some good supplements but I don’t want to have to put out A LOT of money for them, I see most the things on GNC sells for between 40 to 80 a bottle! Thanks!

Answer#1: there are whey protein shakes out there that are a good supplement, along with a good diet...high protein some carb and don't 4get thoughts vegi's! also when working out a good way to build muscle is to start off with heavy weights and do a few short reps and gradually decrease in weight. this is a good way to bulk up and build muscle.
