Question: strength training - I want to get cut instead of bulky muscles?
Question Description:
I've been working out at gym on and off for more than 2 years but not under a qualified trainer. After two years, i find that my muscles pumped a lot and i dont want my muscles to bulge anymore instead i want to get cut and be in good shape. Please somebody tell me what is exactly strength training. Is it less weight with more reps or very heavy weight with less reps. It'll be great if anyone can discuss this with me at length thru chat or mail me at sanjayhyd05 at yahoo, so that we can send mails back and forth.

Answer#2: use less weight then...look swim, jog etc..do something besides working out your arms then
Answer#3: If you want to "cut" then you are really talking reduction in body fat.A small number of reps to exhaustion with heavy weights builds bulk. A larger number of reps with moderate weight tones. Losing body fat cuts. The single most effective way to lose fat is aerobic exercise in the "moderate" fat-burning range, ideally first thing in the morning before you eat. When you wake your body is ready to burn fat and your levels of growth hormone are highest at that time. Later in the day it can take up to 30 minutes just to put your body into a fat-burning mode. Aloha
