Question: Whey Protein ???


Question Description:
Does having whey protein shakes help you loose weight (when taken as a meal replacement/between meals) or, is it only used to help gain muscle? A friend of mine suggested that I should be eating 5 meals a day......3 normal meals of food & then 2 whey protein shakes in between , so that I will be consuming something every 3 hours or so to keep my metabolism up. ( &, in combination with my normal exercise routine & eating healthy)Will this really help me loose? I'm pretty toned up, just need to loose some weight, so, I'm not looking to gain any muscles.

Answer#1: Absolutley I used it to replace my meals for a week and lost 6 pounds in 3-4 days! I drank 2 a day with some fruit! Good Luck
