Question: Whey Protein?
Question Description:
I recently just bought a jug of whey protein. It says to mix one scoop of whey with a glass of water or milk three times a day. I was wondering, will the whey protein still help to bulk you up even if you aren't lifting. Like if you were to take it in the morning and afternoon even if you didn't lift until late night?
Answer#1: It willl help make/keep you lean, but the only way to increase muscle mass is to weight train. Whey is a good choice, because it helps burn fat quiker, just do some weight training for about 30 days, and drink the protien shakes, and you'll be fine
Answer#2: If your trying to bulk up go for it, but if not then i would just take it when i work out.
Answer#3: Better not to take it late at night. It's like a replacement. This is to built your muscles and strengh. If you work out, it help you, if you dont't it might make you get heavier. Just like, let's say : meat, where you find protein.
