Question: Whey Protein?

IM tying ATo build muscle and herd about whey protein. I herd theres more then one kind does anyone know what kind is the best for muscle building and do i take it before my workout or after my workout? and what are the best kinds i would buy at gnc?
Answer#1: Yeah I just started drinking it like 2 days ago .The lady at GNC said that there is " isolated" whey protien, which you really only wanna drink after a workout, and there just normal whey protien which she told me I should drink one with breakfast, and 3 more any other time threwout the day. I bought the normal whey protien GNC brand.She tried to get me to buy the big bottle but I just bought the 2 of the bags. Just go with the normal, becuase it's your first time using it, then you can move up.
Answer#2: i use optimum 100% whey protein twice a day in the morning and one after my workouts, thats they way i like to use it but most people are ok taking it before or/and after workouts, there are alot of different brands out there but they will all basically work the same, i use optimum because i like the flavor of their double chocolate and i and friends have gotten good results from it, if you wanna take your supplements to another level u can also try different things if your really serious about building serious muscle and commiting to it fully like creatine, bcaa's, etc.
Answer#3: My bf and I bought the designer whey protein. You should take it after you workout so that that added amino acid can aid in preventing sore muscles
