Question: Whey Protein.?
Question Description:
evening all.ive started taking that whey protein stuff, (very yummy)will i get the same effects drinking it out of a normal mug/cup,or do i HAVE to drink it out of one of those special sports shake things.I was wondering this because you obviously wont get as much in a mug/cup. ( kind of answered my own question)But my point is, will i still get the required amount of protein etc..thanksmayday33...theres always one smart a$$.
Answer#1: hey there,as long you take the required amount of scoops you are fine. the shakers are just handy, its easier to mix and you can add more milk/water to it so its not too thick or lumpy but it doesnt effect the way it works
Answer#2: if you measure it right. you will get the require protein. get a mug or cup that fits the size of the protein you put it in.from the staff of http://www.boeafitness.com
Answer#3: If it says that a serving is 5 scoops in a pint of milk then thats what you take. If you put 2 scoops in a half pint of milk then thats not a serving. It doesnt matter what you drink it out off as long as its the serving is says. The only good thing about the shakers is that if you get bits lying on the bottom you can give it a shake and mix it up again.
Answer#4: I assume you're using a powder? The key is that you you put in the required amount of scoops. It won't matter what kind of cup you're drinking out of, or even how much liquid you add. If you could stand to eat the dry powder, it would have pretty much the same effect. However if you mix it with milk (as opposed to water), you do get a little more protein out of it.
Answer#5: protein is protein. if the desired amount fits.....yeah....you'll get the same effects. An easy way to shake it up is to use a bottle with a lid and shake it. Either that or stick it in a cup and stir it and let it sit for a minute or so and then stir it again.
Answer#6: whey protein? whey not?
Answer#7: that is kind of a silly question if you think about it. most whey products call for 1 or 2 scoops of powder per drink, if you use the required amount of scoops to make your shake, it doesnt matter if you mix it in a coffee mug, a beer mug, wine glass, a bucket, or the speacial shakers they sell for them. the shakers are about 1 dollar apiece if you find them on sale and are well worth purchasing. they make it easier nd more convenient to mix and carry your shakes with you.
