Question: whey protein allergy?
Question Description:
Hey guys ive been taking ON Whey protein right now for a while, and I think im a little bit allergic to it, i get a little bit tightness soreness in the throat which doesnt bug me much. My question is after a while don't u build immunity to ur allergies if you keep taking what you are allergic to? And also if im allergic to something such as whey protein do i still absorb all the protien from the shake. Also if none of the above are true what would be a good alternative to ON Whey protein, thanks.thanks looking for more specific answers to all my questions first though.
Answer#1: Are you lactose intolerant? No whey!Go soy. And high protein diet if your body can take it.
Answer#2: No you do not build immunity to your food allergies if you keep consuming what you are allergic to. On going use of the product may result in a worsening of symptoms. You can develop some protection from grasses, trees, weeds, molds, dust/dust mites with allergy desensitization shots. If you have oral allergy symptom (allergic reaction to foods that cross react with pollens) then these symptoms may improve with the shots as well. You can still absorb the protein from the shake. However, if you are experiencing any gastric symptoms that could limit the amount of absorption. My question is - are you allergic to milk? Whey is from milk. There may be another ingredient in the protein powder that you are actually reacting to and not the whey.Unless you know for sure what is causing your problem, using another product would be hit or miss.
Answer#3: Non GMO Super Pro 96 is your alternative. Google Super Pro 96 and it comes in different flavors. To understand "why" you are reacting to whey, go to http://www.notmilk.comIf you want futher information on how you can increase your ATP and recovery, e mail me.
