Question: Soy protein compared to whey...?

I take soy protein after workouts instead of whey because i cant stand whey flavors. What is the difference, and how can i make up for it. I know soy lacks certain amino acids.. is there anything i could buy that has the amino acids (pills, etc.)

Answer#2: Soy is mostly found on meats. I may not know alot about soy protein but I'm sure as hell that whey gets digested super fast! Your body is in a constant anabolic state after workouts. During these times, your muscles are in a unique position to suck up nutrients. The problem is, regular soy or casein protein never gets digested quick enough to feed your muscles while its at its anabolic state. Only whey can do that because it will go directly on your muscles just after 5 minutes of consuming it. So you might wanna reconsider about switching your shake.Anyways, about the amino acids, you could find creatine pills on almost all Vitamin shops. L-glutamine, which speeds up your recovery time is sometimes found on regular protein shakes. Just check out the nutrition facts.
