Question: magnesium, soy protein, chromium piccolinate for women?


Question Description:
I started taking soy protein yesterday (powder for shake) and mixed it with my meal replacement shake and kept me full for hours and no cravings, sweet or salty. also started taking magnesium and chromium piccolinate for weight management. does anyone think this is good? i feel good and hope to somehow keep up with my 4 nights a week workouts and these suplement to see a 10 pound loss.any suggestions or info on these supplements?

Answer#2: FYI - magnesium - helps out enzymes in the body, maintains body cells, tells muscles to contract and relax, serves as a component of bones. FYI - chromium pic. - chromium itself works with insulin to help your body use glucose. Not sure how these relate to weight loss, or women. You'll probably have really expensive urine, but you can get sufficient amounts in your diet by consuming spinach, PB, pecans, WW bread, cheese, peas, and eggs. Answer#3: I would make sure the soy protien is not geneticallly modified. 90 percent of the soy produced in the US is modified. It is called "roundup ready" soy, because it was spliced with the pesticide "roundup" to make it withstand heavy spraying of pesticides. It has been further modified with the genes of wheat, corn, and scorpion venom (to make it more resistant to pests) I think it is a toxic soup-all those pesticides and altering what mother nature provided. If it is non gm soy, then it sounds like you are on a good plan
