Question: Are soy protein shakes good for you?


Question Description:
I went to GNC last night and go some soy protein shakes (reccomended by the cashier). Has anyone ever used them and are they good for you? I was told that they will help replenish the muscle after a work out, to help you build lean muscles. Also, a plus for people who do not consume enough protein. Thanks for your answers!!

Answer#1: Soy protein is the best there is but not all soy protein powders are created equal. Which one did you get?Another thing for you to check out is Soy Milk, I drink Silk brand the Very Vanilla is the best.


Answer#2: Soy is good for you. That's why so many people are drinking soy milk. Silk brand soy milk is really good. They come in a bunch of different flavors too.However, do everything in moderation. Use protein powders to supplement your diet, not replace real food.


Answer#3: its excellent for you,especially for women,it help are womanly hormones,to feel good. something to check out right in the grocery store is soy milk .use it instead of regular milk,its better for you and easier to digest.


Answer#4: Soy is good, good, good. I have some soy milk in my fridge. Has protein w/o all the crazy stuff they are putting into our meat. If I didn't love chicken so much...I'd be a vegetarian.
