Question: What are the differences between taking soy protein and whey protein, what's best ? I hit the GYM 5 Times/week
Question Description:
I dont believe in the "incomplete proteins".Soy protein claims to be very healthy.
Answer#1: I think whey is 91% absorbed and soy is 90% absorbed. So it isn't that big of a difference.
Answer#2: Check out this AWSOME article in FLEX magazine Sept 2006 Page 105. Jim Stoppani a PHD and the senior science editor wrote an excellent article detailing the differences. Check it out!2006Olimpia.comflexonline.com
Answer#3: Well----Soy protein is from beans, and whey is from eggs. Whey is the better choice---I have to listen to my husband talk about this stuff all the time----that's how I know!! :) Hope this helps
Answer#4: They're both excellent sources of protein, though whey is generally accepted as the best fast uptake protein. I usually recommend soy as a good alternative for people who may be lactose intolerant.
