Question: Energy drink?

I had a mountain dew "tall boy" energy drink. It took nearly 3 hours to get a boost of energy at all. Is that normal? I want an energy drink that tastes good and works quick. What kind should I get?

Answer#2: You should know that most energy drinks contain high levels of sugar and caffeine. That's what can give you the "jitters" and then a "crash" which can be hard on your body.I drink an energy drink that's kind of like Red Bull only it doesn't have all the sugar and caffeine. Answer#3: Endurox or Accelerade...both are more geared towards quick muscle recovery and increased hydration levels. I have found my lowest energy levels when I am dehydrated so energy drink or not these will keep your head up and your body strong to "keep going" with no crash.
Answer#4: You should try Fullthrottle, but when you drink an enegry drink you usually have to be doing something active and not sitting around, so drink one and do something active to "jump start it"
