Question: warning on MASS-TECH from Muscletech?
Question Description:
I am 16, on masstech from muscletech which is a high calorie weigh gain formaul, there is a warning that says " not intended to be used by anyone under 18". How bad could it get if i start to use this protein, i need to gain muscle and weight without using creatine and this seems to be the only one i can find and then i find out it says to not use if under 18. What should i do?
Answer#1: I took a look at the MASS-TECH ingredients. The issue here isn't the whey protein and the carbs (which, btw, are very high.) The concern is around the other supplements that they add, including creatine.I would avoid this particular powder, and opt instead for a pure whey powder without all of the added ingredients. Something from Isopure or Optimum Nutrition's (ON) 100% whey. Also, avoid the gainer powders. Unless you are on roids, you don't need to consume 830 calories and 150 grams of carbs in your post workout shake. It would be much better to eat three smaller meals during the two hour anabolic window after your workout than to guzzle it all down in one shake. This stuff is loaded with sugar and calories. If you're not on the juice, you don't need more than 300-500 calories above your maintenance level to add lean muscle mass.Best of luck.
Answer#2: Since I started to work out I was looking for a good weight loss product. I was on a diet but I felt that I needed a little "help" so I decided to try this great product and I had fantastic results. You can check their website at http://www.goinfoport.info , they give you a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling.
Answer#3: I recommend that you get another brand -or formula from the same company- of protein shake. Muscletech tend to be the most extreme versions on the market, and have extremely high promises. Other brands such as EAS, Maximuscle, USN, PhD etc..... all have weight gainers which, along with a good workout plan, will be just as efffective. Is it really worth risking your health when theres a way around it?
