Question: How do all you idiots know Aaron didn't cheat?
Question Description:
Barry never cheated. If he did, where's the positive drug tests? How do we know Hank Aaron wasn't using some sort of muscle builder?Everyone just can't face it that the greatest record in all of sports was just broken by the greatest ballplayer of all time!!!Go Barry!!!756!!756!!756!!756!!I didn't say he was on steriods Prof. There were muscle builders and stuff then though. And yes steroids were invented. It was only the 70s.Jeffrey....Can you prove that he lied? No.
Answer#1: There's no positive test because:1. The steroids Bonds allegedly used were undetectable by steroid tests, and 2. Baseball didn't even have a legitimate steroid testing policy until 2005 (Not surprisingly 2004 was the last year that Barry Bonds' numbers were otherworldly) The previous policy did not even require that the player be named and the penalties were a joke. And there's a big difference between "muscle builders" and steroids. But we know Hank wasn't on "some sort of muscle builder" because he was not even a muscular guy. -He never put on 15 pounds of muscle in 6 months, like Barry Bonds did. -His head did not grow exponentially when he turned 36.-He did not get better when he turned 36It amazes me that there are actually people out there who still deny that Bonds was on steroids
Answer#2: Baseball Blows
Answer#3: lets see. who said he used cream and clear.....Barry Bonds!who is under suspicion . .. . .. .. Barry BondsWho got bigger .. . ... Barry Bonds .. . . .Whose team mates said he cheated . . . . Barry Bonds againWho was BALCO's client . . . Barry Bonds???oh and nice try writing 756 four times with exclamations to make your point. too bad it is not working.
Answer#4: The problem is... we will never know if Hank Aaron ever cheated because there is no reason on Earth that we would ever suspect him of it. Just because the guy hits a lot of home runs, that automatically makes him a cheater? Sounds like it to me.Now, while Barry never had a positive steroids test in his career, he did admit during his testimony that he took them. He used them, but he never did it "knowingly". He said that he took what he thought at the time was flaxseed oil. So Barry did take steroids, he just claims that he didn't know what he was taking. Check your facts bro. And while I'm not anywhere near a Barry fan, I have to congratulate him on his record. It just idiotic to accuse everyone who ever hit a lot of home runs of taking steroids, whether it be Hank Aaron, Sosa, McGwire, Babe Ruth, or Alex Rodriguez.
Answer#5: Aaron did cheat, he used amphetamines. So did Mays.Babe Ruth used corked bats.Corked bats add 10-15% power, steroids about 10-15 feet on a homer. So on any given 350 foot homer, you can add 35-50 or so feet using a corked bat.Bonds has NEVER failed a drug test, so he's completely legit.756.GO BONDS
Answer#6: Oh please. The old "Barry had never tested positive for steroids" argument again. Big deal. Neither did Jason Giambi, but unlike Bonds, Giambi told the truth under oath, Barry lied about it which is why he is being investigated for perjury.Do you think it's normal for a guy to hit 335 homers after age 35?? 135 maybe, but for some reason Barry's career took off even more. You call people idiots, but have you ever seen pictures of Hank Aaron playing? The guy was hardly huge, only about 5'11" 185, and he got worse as he got older, not better like Bonds. How can you explain a guy hitting 73 home runs at age 37, besting his previous high by 24?? C'mon, man, you are in denial.Enjoy your "756! 756! 756!". Barry is only borrowing the record until A-Rod breaks it.slowmoser--Can you prove that he didn't lie?? My argument beats yours. First of all, two of his closest associates, Greg Anderson and Victor Conte went to jail. Anderson went because he refused to answer questions about Bonds' possible steroid use. If there was nothing to hide, then why didn't he talk? He didn't talk because he was afraid of being called a rat for telling that he supplied Bonds with steroids and human growth hormone. Oh wait, you are saying it's NORMAL for a player to improve and have slugging percentages of .863, .799, .749, and .812 from ages 37-40, at at an age where most players are winding down, and which were far and away career bests for Bonds. You really put me in my place, thank you for letting me understand. My mistake.
Answer#7: *756*756*756*756
Answer#8: Man...who cares? Doesn't matter anyways, maybe if he wasn't a jack-ass to everybody it would be a good thing but it's not gonna matter for long cause Alex Rodriguez is gonna break it anyway.
Answer#9: anyone who doesnt believe he was on steroids is in denial. After the 1998 home run show from mcgwire and sosa he looked at them and thought i want a piece of it. He shows up the next spring 1999 and put up his highest home run total at the time 49... at the age of 36. You just dont get better with age in sports especially at 36. he also admitted to using the "cream and the clear" in his testimony that was leaked. nor has he ever denied steroid use
Answer#10: Wow...are you serious? Bonds testified about using the clear and the cream. This is called the steroid era for a reason. They weren't used before. Steroid use began in the 60's and only spread beyond the Olympics in the late 70's and 80's, after Hank Aaron's career was over.
Answer#11: When were the drug tests given? I'm just playing devil's advocate here (And I'm not an idiot, just logical) But isn't the time when he got all big and buff way before they started testing him for steroids. He could of bulked up years ago and maintained the bulk by natural methods when the steroid inquiries began. Just a thought. And not that I don't like Barry Bonds. I actually don't really care. Someone will surpass his record and someone will subsequently pass theirs. He's the one that has the new 15.8 million contract so he's doing something right.
Answer#12: hey, bonds never cheated cuz no evidence of it and aaron couldnt of cheated in his prime cuz steroids and enhancements didnt start getting supplied until the 80s, the end of aarons career. and mays is the greatest, then bonds.
Answer#13: first off, congrats to barry of course. loving this moment. and yea aaron did use amphetamines, i think he said that in his biography. so there you have it. if aaron gets a free pass, so should barry.
Answer#14: even if bonds used steriods i wouldnt boo him, every american cheats in ways
Answer#15: word
Answer#16: Because steriods wern't INVENTED YET, you moron!
