Question: Is this a good fitness and bodybuilding program?

Question Description:
I'm only 14 so I do not want to over do anything. I do weights two times a week. On Sunday I do press ups (3 sets of 20) and then do some dumbbell curls (3 sets of 12) and then on Wednesday I do my abs and my back. I also do jogging everyday. Is this good? I'm only young and a beginner. Do you think I will see any improvements in my muscle strength and size? How can I improve my program? Thanks

Answer#1: Tommy is an idiot, there is zero evidence that weight lifting will affect the growth of anyone 14 or over and it is debated if it is even possible for people under 14. I started lifting when I was 14 and I am 6'3" (191cm)If there is anyway to get a gym membership you should you want to use freeweights on at least 65% of your exercises. You need to be doing bench press at different angles and squats.Keep your running to three times a week for 35-45 minutes tops. Your target rep range should be 8 reps (capable of fewer than 7: go lighter next time, more than 9: go heavier) so you need more resistence=Free weights.

Answer#2: just to let u know its gonna stunt ur growth but if your happy with ur height right now then jump into your program sounds good to me.
