Answer#2: You have not missed the peak, and it's never really too late to strength train. Physical therapy for the elderly includes strength exercises. Inactivity perpetuates deterioration. There are many resources on the web that will show you exercises to do, explain your muscle groups, and suggests different ways to work them. Proper form, and proper weights are important as you will hurt yourself if they're not correct. Proper nutrition is next. Without it your work could be wasted. You might think about working with a trainer at the beginning.Read about training for strength versus endurance and toning. Decide what you want to do, and that will lead you to finding the necessary information.
Answer#3: I am also 6'5", I started when I was 27 and around 300 pounds, it is never too late, I now weigh 225 but I got myself down to 185, so it's possible but I would not recommend getting that thin, I looked anorexic. Just starting out I would recommend light cardio 3 times a week with a little weight lifting mixed in and gradually switch to weight lifting more often, depending if you just want to loose weight or gain muscle.
