Question Description:
what is the best way to gain muscle? i lift weights, i started slow, with little weight, now i can lift a little bit more but i'ts been a while since i've been at this level, and a dont see any change, i've change my routine a couple of times but it feels the same what can i do better??
Answer#1: Remember to focus on compound movements...Squat, deadlift, bent-over rows, bench press. Keep workouts short, focus on getting in quality calories (oats, peanut butter, eggs, chicken, etc.), and try and monitor your weight/measurements to ensure progress is being made.
Answer#2: The most important thing in gaining muscle is the diet. Eat plenty of carbs and protein. Keep working out.
Answer#3: To put on muscle, you want to use heavier weights with lower reps... 5-8 reps in each set. Also make sure you eat enough protein... each day at least 0.8 g per lb of body weight. That is alot of protein and takes some work to accomplish.Aloha
