Question: bodybuilding?

Question Description:
does anybody have any good ideas about how to build big muscles for a beginning body builder thats a teen.

Answer#1: I startedat 14 1/2 and am now 16 but I also had a lot of fat to rid ofso if you just need to gain muscle than do full body workout of weights (about 12 reppetitions of each exercise and make shure the 12th is verry strenuous) but if you have fat then do about half as manny weights and 1/2-an hour of areobic (I use mannual treadmill) and cut back on foods that have sugar/honey/maplesyrup, starch/wheat/rice (ecept verry multi grain or brown rice) and fat/greasy foods. sine Ive started I have lost 40 lb but am staying that way and still need to loose a lot of fat yet so I have compleetly dropped all thoes three food groups. hopefully I will loose all the fat I need to yet. also Im up to 45 lb dumbells. good luck, and get books from the librarry!

Answer#2: Watch how much fats you intake when building muscles. If you live around your school area, hike or bike there. Helps your legs out and saves the world too.

Answer#3: consult your Dr first. Protein and carbs, start working out slowly. maybe 3 times a week 20 minutes per day of light weight training and don't push to hard make sure you distribute the workout evenly, ie monday upper body wednesday lower body friday core. Make sure you work cardio in there to so your body has a chance to burn the fat and turn it into muscle

Answer#4: protein and take it slow...get some instruction on proper technique

Answer#5: circuit train, using only larger muscle groups, or using execercises that require more than muscle group to be used at a time. Go high weight and low reps and hit em hard. low reps meaning at least 6.
