Question: Bodybuilding science?

Question Description:
I believe that everybody wants to be knowlegable about bodybuilding will be frustrated because of so many contradicting methods and approaches about training and diet. I need to know if there is any certified source which researches bodybuilding as a science, not as viewpoints?

Answer#1: try reading some mike menzter books. high intensity is a good one. ive used many different techniques and his is the only one ive ever tried that actually made sense and worked. it will also save u alot of time in the gym. i only lift 2x a week for about 20-30 mins each and i get better results then using the methods in the mags or arnold's book.

Answer#2: I agree with you 100%. A workout or technique that works for one person may not work for another. During college we had a strength coordinator. He not only wrote workouts for each specific sport but also for each specific position event etc... I asked him where did he learn the muscle building dynamics. He said he had to get certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Assoc. So to make a long story even longer... here is the web address. http://www.nsca-lift.org/

Answer#3: I'm looking into the HST Method at the moment and it seems sound to me. I'm getting into power lifting, but the HST Method can be used for body building as much as other weight lifters.Take a look at the link...
