Question #13: where to get speed control for my weslo cadence DL15?

Answer: Are you sure it's the speed control? If the unit "dogs out" as you walk or just plain stops it is more likely the motor. Most Weslo have the speed control in one of 2 places... either integrated into the motor or on a circuit board. Either item will cost more to replace than the whole treadmill.Keep in mind that ANY Weslo has an operating life of about 200 hours (one hour a day, 5 days a week for a year), and should only be used for walking... not running or jogging. Regardless of whether the speed control goes to 10mph or not, they should never exceed 4mph.Having serviced treadmills including Weslo and observing the use and abuse they get, I have always recommended getting a Proform or an Image... more expensive but well worth it. Someone once said: "There is hardly a thing in this world that one man can't make a little cheaper and sell for a little less than someone else. It is the buyer who considers price alone and not quality that is this man's lawful prey."

Question #19: Best treadmill under $400 for home?Anyone owns or tried Weslo c44 or c71 i?
Im looking to buy a foldable treadmill for my home use.. im in my twenties and feel it would be easier to just buy a treadmill and use it at home according to when i have free time.. Ive been looking around and weslo treadmills sound good , especially the c400 and c72 i they are folable,, give the cardio etc readings and have the cushion shock absorb thing.. anybody used the weslo treadmills? or any other suggestions? id like to buy one for under $400i do understand $400 doesnt sound like much.. but i am a girl and i just want a good treadmill which i will actually USE once its home.. i hardly get time to go to the gym.. and cant walk outside since there is no quiet place. even when i do get time for the gym.. the treadmill is the only thing i really use... and walking is the only excercise i generally can stick to, so a treadmill sounds the best to me.

Answer: A $400 treadmill is a waste of money. If you aren't spending over $1,000 you might as well walk outside for FREE.
