Question #1: I wanted to buy a treadmill and I am looking at the Smooth 6.25 and 5.25. Which one do you recommend?
I know that the 6.25 is geared toward the regular
runner and 5.25 is geared more for the occasional
runner.

Question #2: Should I remove the acrylic sheet on my treadmill?
I own a Pro Form 585S Treadmill. One of the
unique aspects of my treadmill is that it has a
thin acrylic sheet between the belt and the deck.
Well recently the acrylic sheet developed a few
bubbles which caused the belt to make a lot of
unnecessary noise when I walk over the bubbles. I
sanded the bubbles down but because the acrylic is
supposed to stay smooth, it made the problem
worse. Now the deck is very smooth and very hard
and seems like the perfect service for a treadmill
belt to slide over. Should I remove the acrylic
sheet?

Question #3: My treadmill squeaks. How do I fix or replace the clear plastic film that is under the belt?
The black belt of the treadmill, where I walk on
is ok. But the belt rubs onto a thick plastic film
that is very smooth. That plastic film has an area
where it is not completely smooth, but feels sandy
to the touch. That is the area that squeaks
everytime I put my foot on. Is there any way to
fix this? I have put my hand between the belt and
the plastic film and I can feel the
"sandy" texture... I tried to clean it
but it's still there. I tried sanding it a little
but it still doesn't work. Is there anything I can
use to make is smooth again so I can get rid of
the noise? Thanks a lot in advance.

For you mothers...Have any of you used a treadmill
for walking during pregnancy?? Was the pregnancy
smoother?How many of your mothers exercised on a
treadmill by doing a moderate walk every day or
every other day during your pregnancy? How was
your pregnancy overall with exercise? I also want
to know what treadmill speed were you walking on a
2.0 or 2.3 something like that or more higher? I
have been doing treadmill from 2 weeks now in my
1st pregnancy and go up to a 2.3 speed for a good
25 minutes daily. Otherwise I make sure I do it
every other day. Walking is good right?
Answer: WAlking is excellent. I walked 2 miles three to
four days a week until about 6.5 months. Then it
got cold and I got sick. Now i use the tread mill.
I just walk whenever i feel like it, at whatever
pace feels nice.When you're pregnant and walking
for exercise, you know you're pushing yourself too
hard if you cant hold a conversation while
walking.

Answer: walking is great! I do the treadmill everyother
day at a 3.0-3.5 I'm naturally a fast walker. and
for 20-30 mins. Just make sure you don't overdo
it.I also ride the bike at the gym. Good luck and
