Question #26: Will an exercise bike tone up my bottom?
I have just bought an exercise bike and am aiming
to do 30 mins on it one day then 1hour the next.
So far Im finding it good, but Ive only had it a
week. I was just wondering if this kind of
exercise will tone my bottom and if so, does it do
as good a job as a real bike? Also I have quite
large legs (its where much of my weight is stored)
and I really do not want them to get bigger, I
dont use high tension, just more peddling. Will my
legs get huge?
Answer: Best way is running. Bikes are not as effective

Question #27: Is the exercise bike enough?
I have an exercise bike, of which I use for 40-45
minutes everyday, then I do press-ups, crunches
and muscle exercises. I was wondering if it's
enough, as a cardio exercise, to use the bike, or
should I do something else? A friend suggested
that I buy a treadmill, but I thought it was
pretty unnecessary (Besides, my budget is quite
limited).Any advices?
Answer: Running is great for Cardioand so is the bikeit
should be enough

fitness and lose about 4 stoneDr Frank , I'm more
like 6 stones overweight. 4 stones was just 1st
goal. I already cycle a lot but is does certainly
get my heart rate up fast. I have voiced my
concerns with my gp, he checked me out and said
all is well. Should I hold back on the exercise?
Answer: get a dog then you will have to walk it every
night so there will be no excuse not to exercise,
