Question #31: Is HANUMAN the TRUE FOUNDER of BODYBUILDING???
Whenever ancient statues, idols and other Hanuman
related remnants are excavated, the physique and
body structure of the hanuman imagery is muscular
and built to such an extent that he must have been
advaned in bodybuilding. The ancients must have
been aware of the effects of bodybuilding on the
body structure to be able to build statues so
accurate in so far as the physique. Moreover,
when carbon dating is used to ascertain the age,
the age is classed as being thousands of years old
- a time when bodybuilding didn't even
exist.Moreover, the ancient vedic civilisations
was believed to be advanced in sports and fitness
and the hindu texts encourage wrestlers and
bodybuilders to worship Hanuman. In Greek
Mythology there is a deity that is described in
terms strikingly resembling Hanuman and the Greek
deity was also renowned for his bodybuilding
prowess. Is HANUMAN the TRUE FOUNDER of
BODYBUILDING???
Answer: Oh yeah, man!!! But... isn't he being too hairy?By
the way, I've been seeing very muscular Shri
Ganesh statues in Thailand lately. You might want
to be interested in them. They're SEXY, man! No
joke!

Question #32: in bodybuilding terminology, what is meant by (1)MAss Gaining Routine and 2) Muscle Defining Routine?
I am 24 years old, and i am doing Bodybuilding
from last 5 months.I need some advice, in many
differnet bodybuilding magazines and video DVD's ,
i see two things. 1) MAss Gaining Routine2) Muscle
Defining RoutineKindly tell me that which
technique iu can follow according to my age.
Answer: Your at a great age to follow which ever you
desire. Mass Gaining Routines are mostly for body
builders. This routine will enlarge the muscle
while the Defining will basically give you a nice
cut but you will not be large! So if you want to
gain size then go with mass, if you want to look
good for the ladys and be cut go for the defining!

Question #33: bodybuilding?
hey i need some help here...i wanna build up. to
be stronger and look better. but...the gym nearby
has only the following1) free weights2) leg lifts
(thighs)3) lat pulldown4) the same machine as lat
pulldown but works yr bicep 5)
chest/incline/shoulder press6) exercise matcould
some1 suggest a training plan/regime (something
like 1-2 times a week cuz im busy!) that i should
follow 2 achieve my objectives? thankyou!
Answer: If you want to tone your arms and lats do the lat
pull down, 12 reps at a weight that gets you just
to the 12th and you can't do one single
more. Before you do any of it, do a warm up set
with about 60 to 70% of the weight you will be
working with.Repeat it 3 times with 1 to 2 min
rest in between. To tone your legs do leg lifts
(same as above). For your shoulder and chest do the
same with the incline/shoulder press.Be careful to
do it all in a posture indicated in the machine or
you may injure yourself. If there are no figures
in the machine ask someone to show you how.I can
not prescribe free weights without watching you do
it, it is too prone to injury. I am a Fitness
Trainer. The best is to exercise 3 times a week,
but it is better to do two than none. When you are
done exercising go to the mat and do some
stretching. For example by slowly bending forward
and trying to touch your toes (it does not matter
if you can't yet) than stretching backward (as if
you were being pulled by hands and legs by a
medieval torture machine).Go for it. A regular
exercise program is one of our best activities to
improve our general health and appearance. The
other is eating right.

Question #39: Bodybuilding?
I have always thought about starting bodybuilding,
but have never gotten around to figuring it out.
=( I'm 16 years old, around 5'8" and about
125 pounds. First off am I to young to even start
bodybuilding? I've heard its not good to start too
young. Also I don't understand how do you know
what to work out each day? In the future I want to
look like the pros Jay Cutler and etc... but for
now I just would like to get a 6 pack and a more
defined looking body. How should I start out with
this? Please help.... thanks =D
Answer: Alright, I would say that you're not to young to
start training for body building. Your not going
to magically get HUMONGOUS muscles gains in a
year, so there is no risk. Baisc prinicples of
body building. NEVER train the same muscle group
two days in a row. Even if you arent sore, you
muscles still need to recover. Most people go
arms monday, legs tuesday, resting on wednesay,
arms on thursday, legs on friday, and then some
people work on the weekend or take it off. I
personally prefer at least two days off a week so
my muscles have extra time to recover. Now,
remember, body builders arent that strong
actually. They want to look awesome, so they eat
HORRIBLY to have like 3% body fat and make their
veins pop out for competitions. Not good at all.
That is professional body building though. The
strongest men in the world are actually some
pretty big guys with plenty of body fat on them so
they're muscles arent very defined. It all
depends on what you want. There are exercise
techniques good for building muscles and those
that are good for building strength (two different
things, however there are hybrid techniques that
do a little bit of both at the same time.) For
more information, I would suggest going to http://www.bodybuilding.com and going to the
supersite, not the store site.

Question #40: bodybuilding?
How do I start to get into bodybuilding. I'm
6'5" and 275, I'm also 25 years old, have I
missed the peak?
Answer: I am also 6'5", I started when I was 27 and
around 300 pounds, it is never too late, I now
weigh 225 but I got myself down to 185, so it's
possible but I would not recommend getting that
thin, I looked anorexic. Just starting out I
would recommend light cardio 3 times a week with a
little weight lifting mixed in and gradually
switch to weight lifting more often, depending if
you just want to loose weight or gain muscle.
